Privacy Policy

IceTime is maintained by its owner to provide ice-time discovery and booking in Eastern Ontario. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and your choices.
What we collect
- Account info — name, email, and (optional) phone number.
- Booking info — the slot you requested, contact details you provide, and the signed name on the rink rental contract.
- Payment info — handled directly by Stripe. IceTime never sees or stores your full card number.
- Location — only when you tap "Arenas near me". We use it once to sort results and do not store it.
- Usage data — pages viewed, rink pages opened, and basic device info to improve the app.
How we use it
- To create your account and process bookings.
- To send booking status emails (request received, arena approved, confirmed, declined, refunded).
- To share the minimum booking details (name, contact, slot) with the arena so they can confirm and hold the ice.
- To improve the service and detect abuse.
Who we share it with
- Arenas — for booking confirmation and rental-contract fulfilment.
- Stripe — to process payments (see Stripe's privacy policy).
- Our infrastructure providers — Supabase (database, authentication) and Resend (email delivery), each subject to their own privacy commitments.
- Law enforcement — only when legally required.
We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices
- Access, correct, or delete your account by emailing support@icetimes.org.
- Bookings tied to invoices and tax records may be retained for up to 7 years to meet Canadian record-keeping obligations even after account deletion.
- Disable location sharing any time in your device/browser settings.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your booking session. We do not use advertising trackers.
