1. Who we are

IceTime ("IceTime", "we", "us") is a Canada-wide ice-time discovery platform, launching in Eastern Ontario. We help you find public skating, shinny, family skating, arena rental availability and skate training at participating facilities. By using IceTime you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.

2. What IceTime is and isn't

• IceTime is a discovery and listing platform. We do not sell ice, collect rental payments, issue rental contracts, provide insurance, or reserve ice on your behalf.
• For ice rentals, IceTime sends you to the facility's own booking system or official contact method. The booking, account creation, payment, contract, insurance and any cancellation are completed directly with the facility.
• Public skating, family skating and shinny sessions listed on IceTime are informational. Admission is paid at the facility.
• IceTime does not own or operate the facilities. The facility sets its rates, rules, cancellation terms and rental agreement. IceTime is not responsible for conditions at the rink, ice quality, injuries, or lost or damaged property.

3. Payments

IceTime does not charge users for finding or requesting ice. Ice rental fees, admission fees and training fees are paid directly to the facility or trainer under their terms.

IceTime is currently operating in pilot mode, and paid rink and trainer memberships are not being sold. If paid memberships are activated in the future, pricing and billing terms will be shown before any subscription starts.

4. Cancellations and refunds

Because IceTime does not collect rental, admission or training payments, cancellations and refunds are governed by the facility's or trainer's own policy. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

5. Facility agreements

Facilities may require you to create an account with them, sign a rental agreement or waiver, and carry insurance. Those requirements are set and enforced by the facility. IceTime is not a party to any agreement between you and a facility or trainer.

6. Acceptable use

You will not scrape, mirror, resell, or automate access to IceTime, impersonate others, submit false information, or use the service for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

7. Schedule accuracy

Availability shown on IceTime is compiled from facility schedules and public sources and is provided "as is". Times, prices and cancellations can change without notice. Ice is only secured once the facility confirms it with you through their own booking system.

8. Assumption of risk

Ice skating and hockey carry inherent risks. You participate at your own risk and are responsible for wearing appropriate safety equipment. To the fullest extent permitted by law, IceTime disclaims liability for personal injury, property damage, or loss arising from your use of any ice facility discovered through the service.

9. Limitation of liability

IceTime does not collect payment for ice, admission or training, so to the fullest extent permitted by law our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to CAD $100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
